Promoting the integrated development of chemical industry in Yangtze River Delta

The Yangtze River Delta Chemical Industry Fair Trade and industrial cooperation development forum, sponsored by the Yangtze River Delta regional chemical industry economic and trade friction response cooperation alliance, was recently held in Shanghai. At the meeting, the "Yangtze River Delta Chemical Industry Development Competitiveness Research Report" was released《 The report points out that the chemical industry of the three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta should work together to establish an integrated development alliance of the chemical industry in the Yangtze River Delta with the participation of the government, so as to accelerate the realization of the integrated development goal of the chemical industry in the Yangtze River Delta.

The alliance was jointly established by Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui chemical industry associations in 2019. Huang dailie, President of Shanghai Chemical Industry Association, said that the report is the result of one year's cooperation among the four associations, aiming to actively promote the development and trade integration of the four chemical industries.

In order to accelerate the integrated development of chemical industry in the Yangtze River Delta, the report puts forward three suggestions: first, the petrochemical industry chain should be coordinated development; Second, scientific research and innovation should develop in coordination; Third, it is necessary to explore and establish a public monitoring and information sharing platform for the "three wastes" in the Yangtze River Delta region, so as to realize the monitoring, early warning, information and governance technology sharing of the "three wastes".
